Thank you,
Jesse and Lesle
Installation of camera with transformer.
Not picture but installation of fan with heater and light in bathroom.
Having a carport/storage shed(16'X24') I needed to have the power line raised from pole to house(County Code).
They were prompt on the day of work. They noticed somethings that needed to be brought up to code. They explained what needed to be done, the way they were going to do it and the cost.
I noticed the pictures are not in order. SMUD disconnecting the power line, the electrician installing the raiser, SMUD connecting the power line to utility box.
What was to be expected was the wait for SMUD, the county and SMUD. In this kind of work you are on their schedule and not the other way around.
The electricians did their work on a timely basis.
I continue to call them for an electrical work and ethernet connection.
County inspector after passing inspection on footing and forms suggested that I have a ground rebar installed.
I contacted OldTown Electric Inc. who I had previously made arrangements to run a power line along with two cables for security cameras an Ethernet line to the storage shed part of the structure.
They were prompt, professional and courteous.
Why Roseville Homes Experience Electrical Issues
A breaker that trips every time you run the microwave and the toaster together isn’t random – it’s a circuit telling you something. In Roseville’s newer subdivisions, where AFCI breakers are standard code in nearly every room, we get a steady stream of calls about “nuisance” trips that turn out to be loose connections or shared circuits never sized for how the home is actually used. In the older Westpark and Woodcreek sections, it’s a different story: original 1990s wiring nearing 30 years old, devices that no longer make solid contact, and outlets that have quietly stopped working in a back bedroom or garage.

What We Find Most Often in Roseville Homes
Every diagnostic call starts the same way – we trace the problem to its source instead of guessing. Here’s what that looks like depending on what’s going on at your house, with a link to our full troubleshooting and repair service if you want the broader picture.
Breakers That Keep Tripping
Whether it’s a standard breaker overloaded by too many devices on one circuit or an AFCI breaker reacting to a loose connection somewhere downstream, we isolate the exact circuit and test it under real load – not just at the panel. In Roseville’s 2010s-built neighborhoods, AFCI nuisance trips are one of the most common calls we get, and the fix is usually a tightened connection or a rebalanced circuit, not a new breaker.
Dead Outlets and Switches
A single dead outlet is often a failed connection at that outlet. A whole run of dead outlets points to a tripped GFCI feeding the circuit, or – in older Westpark and Woodcreek homes – a connection that’s degraded over three decades of use. We trace the circuit back to find which one it is before opening anything up.
Flickering or Dimming Lights
This is rarely the bulb. Loose neutral connections, an overloaded shared circuit, or a failing connection at the panel itself are the usual culprits, and any of the three can become a fire risk if left alone. We check the panel first since that’s where the highest-consequence problems live.
Buzzing, Warm, or Discolored Outlets and Switch Plates
This one doesn’t wait. A warm or discolored outlet is an active fire hazard and we treat same-day calls for this as a priority. If you’re seeing this in your home right now, call (916) 307-0990 before reading further.
Partial or Full Power Loss
If half your house is dark but the other half is fine, the issue is usually one leg of your panel or a failed connection upstream. We’ve handled this in everything from original Westpark electrical service to homes in Roseville’s newer HOA communities where landscape lighting and irrigation timer circuits add extra points of failure outdoors.

How We Handle Repairs Once We Know What’s Wrong
- We diagnose before we quote. You get a flat price for the actual repair once we’ve found the cause – not a guess based on a phone description.
- Permits when the work calls for one. Swapping a faulty outlet doesn’t need a permit. Rewiring a circuit or replacing panel components run through the City of Roseville’s permitting process, and we handle that paperwork.
- One electrician, start to finish. Whoever diagnoses your issue is the one repairing it – no handoff to a different crew.
- 226+ verified reviews and counting. BBB A-rated, 4.9/5 on Google, with customers consistently noting we explain what we’re doing in plain language before we do it.
- 24/7 emergency availability. Warm outlets, burning smells, or sparking don’t wait for business hours, and neither do we.
Also Serving Nearby Communities
Beyond Roseville proper, we handle troubleshooting and repair calls throughout Westpark, Woodcreek, Stoneridge, and the surrounding Placer County area, including Rocklin, Granite Bay, and Lincoln.
If Something’s Not Working Right, Let’s Find Out Why
A diagnostic visit costs less than guessing, and you’ll know exactly what’s wrong before any repair work starts. Most Roseville visits are scheduled within the week.

Our Recent Projects
A standard diagnostic visit runs $125-$225 depending on the complexity of the issue, and that fee typically applies toward the repair if you move forward with us. Simple fixes like a single outlet or switch replacement often land in the $150-$300 range total; circuit-level repairs or panel connection work run higher. We give you a flat price once we've found the cause - call (916) 307-0990 for a free estimate.
Most troubleshooting and minor repairs - a bad outlet, a failed switch, a loose connection - don't require a permit. Work that involves rewiring a circuit, replacing panel hardware, or anything affecting the home's electrical infrastructure does require a permit through the City of Roseville, which has its own permitting portal separate from Sacramento County. We'll tell you upfront if your repair needs one and handle the paperwork ourselves.
AFCI breakers are standard in most rooms of homes built in Roseville over the last 10-15 years, and they're sensitive by design - they're meant to catch arc faults before they become fires. A nuisance trip is usually a loose wire connection, a shared neutral between circuits, or occasionally a downstream device causing interference. We test the actual circuit rather than just replacing the breaker, since swapping the breaker alone doesn't fix a wiring issue.
Not automatically, but it's worth a look. Electrical connections degrade gradually over 25-30 years from thermal cycling and normal use, which is why older Roseville neighborhoods generate more "intermittent" outlet and dimming complaints than newer ones. It doesn't mean a rewire is needed - usually it's isolated connections that need attention, and we can tell you exactly what we find during the diagnostic visit.
